DONT CAMP HERE!!!! Would give it no stars if possible.

Me and my family came here , spent a couple hours of hard work setting up them drove around to check some stuff out only to receive a phone call from the park office telling us our site has been sold and we need to come pack up. What??? We had forgotten to check in so I guess that meant they could not contact us to ask if we were coming or not and just sell our site to other people. My mom just had surgery and setting up the site was a hassle as is and hard on her and now they were forcing us to pack up. Not only that, but we had to move sites and we didn’t get our money back for our two nights we paid for and reserved AND they made us pay the price for our new site they forced us to move into. Wonderful 👍🏼👍🏼 Oh and also, we had an electrical site to begin with and they moved us into a tiny basic site without letting us know before hand.

We set up at the new site and everything was going well up until THE SAME park lady came walking out of who knows where at 1am telling us our camp lantern was too bright... are u kidding? It’s a camping lantern LOL. She then says “oh it’s shining in that guys tent, he didn’t complain but I know I wouldn’t be able to sleep like that” umm he didn’t complain so obviously it’s not a problem? You dumb blonde. It’s a small light so we can actually see what we’re doing in our site, also we’re in the woods trying to camp and relax we don’t need a baby sitter coming into our site every 5 minutes.

Anyways, don’t camp here unless you like rude people who invade your privacy and like getting tickets too ( they walk around everyone’s sites with flash lights and ding you with tickets on anything that’s wrong )

Beautiful place and was actually calling this our new camping place to begin with but now, we will never be coming back and will be letting family and friends know!! Too bad. Thanks for the terrible stay and scamming the...

Camping in Eastern Manitoba is great! We did Otter falls last year and tried Nutimik this year. The lot that we got was pretty good. Lots of trees to hang up hammocks and clotheslines. The soil in the area is pretty soft so getting a tent all set up was pretty easy. I would pack a rubber mallet or axe if you have to smack pegs down. The campground is beautiful and has both ground and waterfront sites. Sites also offer non electric and electric. There's washrooms located in all sections and a big washroom with showers located right in the middle of the campsite. The main washroom is cleaned daily and the others I'm not sure. There's access to the lake at the end of the campsite. Flooding took away a lot of the beach but it was still a good area to go spend the day in the sun. They have a fish cleaning hut on site as well. There's a walking path on site that leads to a really cool bridge and some rapids that are found before the campsite. We noticed lots of people fishing in this area. There's a store just off the campsite where you can buy firewood, gas and food. Overall had a great experience and would most likely camp there again! Don't forget to bring...

A nice centralized spot in the Whiteshell. Campsites are mostly private, many of which have little hidden nooks built into the sites. The beach area seems to get overrun by day visitors, and the boaters can be rowdy, especially when crossing sturgeon falls.

One weird thing I've noticed over the years, that seems to be limited to nutimik campground is that everyone seems to have an abundance of high powered flashlights, and will shine their lights into your campground. Expect to get spotlighted and bring your own to combat it. People that camp here tend to not have much respect for camping etiquette. Expect to be woken up at 6am from some dude that needs to chop wood, or a family with so many vehicles that they park on the street bays and that's somehow allowed. Expect to be kept up late from that nearby family with 3 vehicles in their drive way, that has dogs, and sings campfire songs all hours of the night.. Personally I'd rather deal with drunk party goers. At least they have an excuse for being obnoxious, and are consistent with their...

I prefer to camp in the back country, quiet and private are my priorities. The sites at Nutimik vary, there are some definite doozies that are very open or in a high traffic zones like the washroom but most are above average and some are A++. I'd love to stay in a yurt or in a waterfront site, that's the goal for next time. The lake it great, there are a few hikes nearby and if you have a boat or canoe you have access to even more. Lots of bear activity here, but the campground is well equipped with multiple traps set up and they take other preventative measures to scare them off. In addition to the bears we saw otters, beavers, lots of goslings and ducklings, bald eagles, a blue heron and a fellow boater said he got a great photo of a fox family. There are conveniences like a store, firewood and ice-cream as well as shower facilities, although I haven't personally used them. Due to covid I opted to shower privately. On top of that this place deserves 5 stars for the sunsets alone.

Typical MB campground. The amenities(the few that are there) are in need of some TLC. The showers are paid - $1 for 3 minutes. Took $2 to warm up so it was tolerable, then you have to deal with the broken shower heads. Give them a little CLR…. Didn’t dare to use the porta potties or outhouses. Not well kept. The sites are average size. Two cars 1-2 tents depending on size. Pretty noisy campground for 11pm +, not so much people at their sites but just groups walking around being extremely loud tell 3am. Didn’t see any staff all weekend. The beach and boat launch are flooded still. Both usable. There’s an old swing set, which has one usable swing, other is broken. That’s all for a “playground”. The good points of this place - Plenty of hikes around the area and are accessible from the campground. Lots to do in the area as well.
