Stopped by on a rainy day. Didn't see a crystal clear lake yet still an unique view. Small beach with easy lake access. Dogs not allowed on the beach so we just took a quick look and left as we had our lab with us. He was not exactly happy to stay off the beach and water, but I would say it's a nice and relaxing spot for humans.

The water was crystal clear, you could see the bottom, all sand and incredibly clean. In the summertime the water is warm and the beach is clean and well preserved ❤ Fell in love with this spot ! Wilk make it a goal to stop here everytime we drive out to Ontario! 👍

Great Spot. Do not bring your dogs as they are not allowed and you will be asked to leave. Trucks were parked in front of the only “no dogs allowed” sign and we did not see it, had to pack up all out stuff and leave. Should post more no dogs signage to avoid this.

Really beautiful white sand beach with clear water and sometimes big waves. Beach is quite accessible from parking lot, there is a washroom. Only a 5 minute walk along the highway to bathtub island. You can park your car at Kathrine Cove and walk over to Bathtub Island instead of parking by the highway. This is a family and dog...

Such a pretty cove along hwy 17!! Must stop at least for a quick stretch! (Not so much for the rockhounders, geology is neat for sure as there are some cool erosions in the rocks to the right of the entrance trail by the peak but not so much for collecting if you’re into that/it’s a short sand beach with solid bedrock...
