I Adore this Park...I gave 4 Stars on account of ...it can alwys be cleaner.. (Hint hint...C.O.V)....There could be way less open alcohol and the narly bits that go with Vagrancy and alcoholism (WORD...P.O.V)..... However they usually stay in their own zone... Now..this historical park actually started the Grandview area back in 1912ish as an Army Supplies grounds..that outfitted Canada's, Western soldiers in WW1...(The Big One)(One of Germanys efforts many efforts to take over ze vorld) ANY HOW......Back to Park...It has a grand playgrund..that my child grew up on...It was overhauled and outfitted with a state of the arttistiquue of the playground world ; Swings, Forts made from the Stumps of old growth trees, A spider wall to climb( scarily high),A gigantic sandbox with an operable digger and claw..(kid size) that spins 360..."I KNOW!"...the kids are always fighting over it...ahhhhh memories!..A giant slide, Pizza Swing?(my boy says), Picnic tables, benches ,OH YA..APolo court,A monolith in memory of all the fallen soldiers....(On Remembrance day this park is one of the main gathering places to commerate this auspicios occasion...There are so many events that happen here they are too numerous to name..."Well ALLRIGHT... "honorable mentions": The... Pride Festival Function...Urgh I cant remember the exact name but its near the end of June.. Roller girl is there with skates for sale( not blades..ROLLER SKATES).and pride/knee socks..Park is full of 💘... And peeps...gay peeps...good time..no haters stay home!....Earth day..womans Day..RememberanceDay....Italian Days.. Ok enuf...great park on all days...sunset is amazing..looks like a painting... History of trees and park and area are written on wee brass plaques on old 200 yr old tree stump in playground. ENJOY OUR PARK..BRING A GOOD VIBE..IT WILL LOVE YOU BACK! P.S. CLEAN UP AFTER SELF...MAY B PICK UP A PIECE THATS NOT...

A first-rate park for the children to run around and for mother and father to simply take a seat lower back and loosen up. It is got a gate around 3 facets, and it is easy to see your kids from anywhere you sit. There are also quite a few amusing things to play with there! I imply it is great that there may be a big park in the city region and it does have a tennis courtroom but apart from that it's quite uninteresting. Basically only a big area. Accurate for institution gatherings however no longer if you want exceptional image opportunities. A lovely calm area for on foot and playing the landscape. And, I'd probably no longer endorse leaving your youngsters unattended. Many communal toys are left for all kids and the is a free e-book not on the park. But throughout the street, Athens's entrance bocci ball is played on a normal...

This park is actually quite nice. One half is a beautiful park and playground with a small water park and a floor hockey rink. However, the other half of this park isn’t very good at all. A path runs diagonally through the middle of the park splitting it. The right side is deplorable. There is a remeberance day memorial ,which is often a hangout for local druggies. Now, I am not against homelessness or marijuana, but it is highly inappropriate to be shooting drugs or smoking weed at a memorial that is meant to be in memory of our fallen soldiers. The fact that the city hasn’t done anything about this is also saddening. Furthermore, the bathroom is disgusting and covered in graffiti (as all park bathrooms are) and is a second hangout for the memorial druggies. It’s ok to bring kids here, just...

Grandview Park, nestled in a serene suburban setting, is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and families alike. This quaint park boasts well-maintained walking trails that meander hrough a lush green landscape, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The park's centerpiece is a small, picturesque lake that reflects the surrounding trees and sky, creating a perfect spot for quiet reflection or a leisurely picnic.

Granview park, has since a lot of changes, theres a big open space and now the have bathroom, and it always full in the day, took my daughter and son here for years during both their first years. There is added interest and great stuff for sale, especially art. The drive as it's called by local is an art capital in the city , commercial Drive has something for everyone one! Bless

Nice place to 🛼 on sunny days...if you can time it with the bike polo people that seem to think they own the paved rink. The kids play area seems nice and the "water park" freshly renovated. The area by the cenotaph and the washrooms I would stay clear of as they are filled with the people who shouldn't be drinking and doing drugs in a children's park!
