Quiet little beach with street parking only. Not recommended for swimming with children as the lakebed is shallow but very silty and is like quicksand when you stand in it. Not only will you lose your shoes but it is hard to pull your feet out. Fine for launching a kayak...

The neighbourhood is lovely. The beach itself is really stoney and really small. We stayed for about 20 mins then drive over the bridge to City Beach. Which was much nicer.
