Musselman Lake — Attraction in Whitchurch-Stouffville

Early March 2023 weekday. Has been around last summer, it was a nice and quiet living environment when driving and gasoline consumption and environmental impact are not a concern. While the lake was frozen this winter, it is another form of joy and fun for enthusiasts. But the land and house are expensive and prohibitive to have new comers making a home in this rural area. No access to the lake. No parking or stopping. Homes block access. Roads are narrow and run next to a steep drop off. There's a tiny parkette with parking and nothing else. Even RV campers don't have access. There's a restaurant and a snack bar. The snack bar used to have some picknick tables for cyclists. Now it's become exclusive only. The whole place is by design to...

Nothing to access for the public. Planned a visit for the day and had nothing to do - nowhere to park, nowhere to walk.

The small bits of walkable shoreline is fenced off and made private by local cottage owners.

Unless you own land here, there is no reason to visit Musselman...
