Went to St. Norbert Park first time with my partner. It’s almost the end of August and it’s tourism season. I too was disappointed not to find any attendant at the site office. Everything was locked up. The grounds were well kept. Very nice and clean. Prior to going to the park we were at the St. Norbert Farmers Market. It might be of interest to people at the Market to be aware of the Heritage Park. Maybe some advertising signage or notice letting people know about this park. We were the only people at the park for almost 1 hour. We only seen some fishermen in a boat on the river. Why no summer staff at the park for tourism? The history is good and...

I was disappointed with this park. No one was in office. The pathway was not very well maintained/developed. Park was smaller than I imagined. If the pathway was better maintained & woodchips were put down where the trail is it would b better. Maybe if they developed the pathway & made a little bridge 2 connect 2 Pollock Island park across the river it would really improve both parks. Now people in St Norbert would go 4 more walks because of the closeness of the river as well as...

We thoroughly liked the information and seeing such well-preserved historical structures. If you enjoy history, it's well worth a visit. However, there is no access to any of the buildings (save the visitor centre), and the park itself is quite small. We thoroughly liked the information and seeing such well-preserved historical structures. This is a gorgeous little park I just discovered. I would love to explore it further when things are open. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that there are outhouses that are open all year round. There are also benches and a few picnic tables so you could easily spend an afternoon here.

St. Norbert Provincial Park, just south of Winnipeg, offers beautiful trails, picnic areas, and the historical ruins of the Trappist Monastery. It's a serene spot for nature walks and learning about local history, making it a great day trip destination.
