Wood Islands Provincial Park — Attraction in Wood Islands

So beautiful, we really enjoyed the tour, a little steep near the top ladder but worth the view. Gives a bigger understanding to the lighthouse keeper and his family's life. Well kept washroom facilities, a park for kids and access to the ocean. Also a small shop inside the lighthouse and a second hand store in a smaller lighthouse on site. Three lighthouses in one! We certainly didn't expect this. All of the lighthouses are for real. Two of them are 'range' lighthouses that were moved here after they were no longer needed. This is one of the few lighthouses on P.E.I that you can actually climb to the top.
