Waterloo Warbirds — Attraction in Woolwich

This is a highly professional group of people. They are not only talented at making your day a safe success, which they did, they are super friendly. I flew out from the Vancouver area specifically to fly in the fabulous L29 Viper and combined the trip with a visit with relatives. My initial contact with Doug months ago was excellent and our continued communication first class. Doug and the WW staff greeted me and my guests with smiles and respect and my guests were pleased to be there and enjoyed the two days that I flew the Viper. Pilot Richard Cooper was a joy to fly with, his communications, instructions and briefings were spot on. My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and wife surprised me on my 70th birthday with a flight in the T-33. It was a terrific!!!! The sensation of slaloming through towering cumulus clouds at high speed was unbelievable. The low passes at 400kn (740kph) at the Hamilton airport has to be the fastest I've ever been through any airport! The rolls on the way back were pretty cool...looking up to check out the ground was neat!

I Had the privilege to fly in the T6 Martin with Pilot Liam Pearson. What am amazing experience. This 1942 aircraft is maintained in tremendous condition by the Waterloo Warbirds team and handled incredibly well in the air. We did barrel rolls, dives, flips and cruised around. A real Top Gun experience. I am training to get my private pilot's license in the US and this was a real treat to be able to pilot this plane for a while in the air. And the staff (John, Doug, etc.) is second to none.... all volunteers.... very professional.... all provided incredible 5 star service all around. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITNG...
