When coming to Boavista, the Viana desert is popular for quad bike rides and you get to try their tradicional stew called cachupa. Be careful with the guys trying to sell souvenirs there. They tried to rip me off 😡

E niente..sei lì che giri per Boa Vista, per andare a sud dove le spiaggia sono immense e il mare maestoso, e ti trovi in un deserto..non ha attrazioni specifiche ma solo un totale silenzio e sabbia ovunque..un'oasi di pace..neppure prendevano i telefoni quando ci andai. Solo silenzio e vento, un mondo a sé, una magia di posto dove osservare, ascoltare, immergersi e dimenticare la frenesia della quotidianità. Di notte poi diventa surreale. Peccato che la mia vecchia fotocamera non fosse il massimo per le foto notturne
