This was my third time over 10 yrs I’ve been to this place and not once have the disappointed. Not gonna lie it seems a bit expensive but once you’re there and do the tours it’s completely worth and makes sense with all they do year round during times they probably don’t get a lot of visitors. Every person that works there from the first women that sold us tickets and taught us about the birds in the gift shop (was great with the kiddos), to the women who did the first half of the tour and then passed us to her dad for the last half, we’re all amazing! They provided the perfect amount of fun, knowledge on the animals and hands on experience while being completely understanding to our young kiddos who need many reminders to be calm around the animals when they’re so excited! I highly recommend this place. It cost us about a $100 including 4 people and souvenirs for each kid. We there about 2.5 hours and it was awesome! Well worth the fun! Very unique great experience and worth every penny! Thank you to all of you for all that you do! Side not I have also taken a group of 20 5 yr olds on a field trip here 7 yrs ago and it was awesome then too! Thanks again!!! You can tell these animals are very happy and well taken care of! I highly support this place and recommend it for everyone just remember to respect the animals as this is their home! ❤️❤️❤️ Edit: after going to the cougar mt zoo I wanted to add to this review, cougar mt seemed like it’d be a better time, more expensive and has tigers and more variety of animals HOWEVER we still hands down had so much more fun at the kangaroo farm! It’s completely different and you get less muddy but the experience is so so so much better! I already loved this place but after going to another zoo down south we love y’all even more and your animals seem so much happier. Additionally way more interactive and Great staff here! Well he back very soon

Rating: AAA Good activity for a group (birthday, team building). The farm is family-run by a 81 "year-young" father and his daughter. (Perhaps other family as well?) The farm's attractions are done via group tours on a schedule that starts at the top of the hour periodically throughout the day. The group is split in half and spends half their time with one guide and switches to the other during the tour. This way fewer people are at each exhibit. One half starts at the "end" and the other at the beginning. The two halves pass each other in the middle and switch guides. It was fun to experience each of their styles. The tour is very experiential, guests are encouraged to feed and touch many (but not all) of the animals. The tour is led into many of the enclosures. It is essential that you PAY ATTENTION to instructions on how to interact with the animals, both for their safety, and YOURS. There are many animals at the farm, I saw: chickens, peacocks, alpacas, llamas, goats, donkeys, lemurs, wallabys (I think?), an enormous tortoise, and of course - the kangaroos. The farm is well maintained and even features a small gift shop on site. All of the animals seemed well cared for, and those that we interacted with were very tame with sweet dispositions.

Our family drove from Vancouver to Arlington for a camping trip and decided to visit The Outback Kangaroo Farm during our stay. Despite its small size, this farm is a gem for families with children. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who provided us with an overview of the farm and its activities. The highlight of our visit was interacting with the kangaroos and wallabies. The kids were thrilled to feed them and even got the chance to pet some of the animals. In addition to kangaroos, the farm also houses a variety of other animals, including goats, sheep, and pigs. The kids had a blast exploring the farm and learning about the different animals. The farm offers a range of activities for children, including pony rides and playgrounds. The kids spent hours playing and having fun, making it a memorable experience for them. Overall, our visit to The Outback Kangaroo Farm was a delightful addition to our camping trip. The kids loved it and had a fantastic time. We would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience for their children.

My wife found this place and took me, our son, and her dad here. It was a fun experience! I can say that out of all the times I have been around wild animals at zoos, I have never pet a kangaroo or gotten this close to one. I am from San Diego too so I used to be a member of the San Diego Zoo and their other location called the Safari Park. I guess it is a very well known zoo world wide which is why I mentioned it. Even though I have been to these two wonderful parks, I have never experienced anything like I did at this Kangaroo Farm. The petting zoos they have don’t have Kangaroos! Even though I gave 5 stars, I do have one negative thing to mention. And that is the staff tone of voice and demeanor. They were professional and competent, but sounded annoyed. I know people can be difficult to deal with in that environment, but it is your job to put up with them without sounding irritated while doing so. They have some al pacas, chickens and other animals too. My wife pre-purchased the tickets and I remember it wasn’t that cheap. But how often do you get to pet Kangaroos?

Absolutely the best! Michelle was wonderful and so very kind, patient, and informative. Also, I loved that there was trivia. My brothers, SIL, myself and my daughter were the ones that went, on a Saturday about noon. Unfortunately my husband wasn't able to make it due to work. I believe we are going to go again, so he can have the wonderful experience too! All the animals are well cared for, the areas which they have access to are kept well, there's definitely no shortage of food or love for them. I loved how you can be interactive with *most* of them. It seemed like just a regular landscape that they could roam. There were no potential safety hazards. And my kid was dubbed 'no fear' because she didn't seem to mind to really be apart of the tour or to feed the animals or be engaged with any of the people. I mostly was amazed at how much the animals seemed to be relaxed and didn't mind us all walking around. It was such a beautiful experience. I want to thank Michelle for the kindness and what she said to me that day. I really needed to hear that. We will see you soon!
