Laguna San Rafael National Park (Spanish pronunciation: [laˈɣuna san rafaˈel]) is a park located on the Pacific coast of southern Chile. The park is named for the San Rafael Lagoon formed by the retreat of the San Rafael Glacier. Read moreHicimos el viaje en el catamaran Chaiten, parto señalando que todo funcionó muy bien; nave, seguridad, comidas y tragos (muchos y bien preparados) salimos desde Puerto Chacabuco (llegamos 7 am para chequeo), en el recorrido pudimos apreciar volcanes como el Maca, fiordos, toninas, hubo concursos, trivial, etc. A fin de amenizar constantemente el viaje. Finalmente al parque y glaciar, espectacular!!! In situ hubo tiempo suficiente para tomar fotografías, nos organizaron en grupos y bajamos en Lanchas para aproximarnos a distancia suficiente y segura al glaciar (para más fotografias) estuvimos 30 minutos aprox. (Todo el tiempo bajo el cuidado del patrón de lancha y chalecos salvavidas puestos) para luego regresar a tomar el Whisky "milenario" realmente es un viaje modo peregrinaje que realmente se debe hacer.
