Geyser Blanco — Attraction in Calama

Some of these reviews seem to refer to the El Tatio complex… this is different as you need to take a left turn a bit before getting to El Tatio. It’s basically an area of thermal activity with very hot water that flows into a small stream. There are minibuses that get here and have a lunch break but they don’t get down to the small river. If you have your own vehicle bring towel and swimsuit and go down to the river where there are a couple of pools where you can bathe but be careful as some are very very hot. Nicht weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt über Schotterstraße erreichbar (kein 4x4 notwendig, aber Bodenfreiheit an einer Stelle von Vorteil). Im Prinzip ein großer weißer Hubbel aus dem richtig heißes Wasser rauskommt. Das Wasser fließt in einen kleinen Bach, der sich durch ein kleines Tal schlängelt.
