Actually, the entire island is "The" National Park. Simply amazing. If you really want to enjoy it then you'd have to prepare for 2-3 * 3-5 hours strenuous walk. You will be rewarded by incredible view, fantastic landscape, and more than likely a volunteer guide dog who would accompany you (like it or not, want it or not) and show you the path.He actually wouldn't want food and would appreciate a drink once or twice. Muy hermoso lugar para hacer trekkiing o mountain-bike. Pero es necesario planificar con tiempo ya que no hay abastecimiento de agua o alimentos durante todo el camino. Tampoco hay señal telefónica o de Internet en el área. Por lo que sólo sirve un mapa fuera de línea. Sin embargo el camino es una huella de aproximadamente 2 metros de ancho. Se debe poner atención sobre todo en invierno ya que hay luz hasta las 18:30 hrs. Y el camino entre el aeródromo y el pueblo toma aproximadamente 4 a 5 horas a paso medio. Ist man irgendwie in der Nähe von dieser Robinson crusoe Insel, dann sollte man diese auch, mit ihren 800 Einwohner auf jeden Fall mal besucht haben! Eigentlich hieß der wahre Robinson crusoe, Alexander Selkirk und ist wegen Meuterei 1705 dort von Bord geworfen worden und erst nach 4 Jahren und 4 Monaten von dort gerettet worden. Heute kann man dort die Höhle in der er wohl lebte besichtigen und guten lobster und Golden Crabs essen! Am 27.02.2010 würde die Insel von einem Tsunami heimgesucht, wo sich heute noch...
