Termas Los Pozones — Attraction in Pucón

This is a public information notice, rather than a proper review, as we didn’t actually get in.

The Termas don’t take card, which would have been ok if the cost was still what was on the website as we had the exact change for 2 people. Unfortunately when we got there we found out the price had actually doubled to 15000 for 2hours (instead of 8000 for 3 hours, as the website still reports) so we couldn’t get in. Good local place with 5 pretty hot baths along a rushing river. Went in the evening and the 2hr limit is definitely enough. Bring flip flops and drinking water. But be ready to hike down and back up about 200 steep steps if you park on the 2x4 (city-level car vs off road) lot instead of driving down to the 4x4 parking. Good option if you don't want to drive more than 45 minutes from Pucon for a 'natural' thermas experience. Tip: use the sandy grains in the bottom of the pools as a scrub, skin will feel baby...

Nice hot spring, clean, and in good condition. The lockers are too small, a pair of boots and a jacket will fill them, but where to go with a backpack? The showers were not very warm. The hottest bath is okay warm, but not very hot. Very crowded on a sunday. Unfortunately, they don't offer anything else than a full day ticket for 30.000 p.p.
