Parque de la Familia is a public park located in the commune of Quinta Normal in Santiago, Chile. It is part of the "Santiago integrated park system" that also included Parque Forestal and Parque de Los Reyes. The park was inaugurated on January 21, 2015, and is the first of its kind in the country.

Awesome! Picturesque, great for jogging, biking or just walking. Bring a picnic and some sunscreen! Some places to sit and some grass mixed in along the canal/lake. Note- No BBQ's or alcohol allowed. Open till 6 in the winter, till 9 in Spring/Summer. Take advantage of good on-site bathrooms and recycling on both extremes of the park. I actually liked it. It's lagoon is pretty, the boat's service is lame, it just give the chance to use it over a small portion of the lagoon. I was disappointed of it. But the rest of the park is clean, has surveillance and you can feel like you are not in the middle of the city once...

Hasta el 28 de Febrero se realiza el festival de la Luz; una exposición cultural de China, con comidas, luces y bailes típicos de allá. A lo largo del parque uno puede encontrar diversas figuras gigantes que al llegar la noche se iluminan. La entrada está a $ 9.900 para los adultos, $ 6.900 para los niños y 3ra. edad, $ 4.900 universitarios y educación media, y $ 3.900 básica (presentando la TNE). Los niños de altura inferior a 90 centímetros entran gratis. Una experiencia maravillosa, ideal para compartir en familia del arte, comida y cultura.
