Breathtaking sunsets a highlight at Tebinquinche Lake.

The complete tour, including Laguna Cejar and Tebinquinche Lake took from 4 to 8 pm. Sunset at Tebinquinche Lake was certainly one of the most spectacular sights during our stay at San Pedro de Atacama.

Plenty of opportunity to explore the salt flats here and take photos. There is SO MUCH salt!

Lots of bird life here; the setting sun seemed to bring them out, and they swooped around the sky. Breathtaking.

The lake itself had some flamingos on it. The ruggedness and extreme colours were beautiful, As the sun set, the colour on the mountains was constantly changing.

All this was enhanced with snacks provided on the tour and 'pisco sours'.

Excellent part of another great tour here. Highly...

Don’t listen to reviews about watching sunset here. We bought our tickets online and arrived before sunset only to be told they are closed at 5:30pm. The guard told us we could use our tickets for the next day. We drove all the way for nothing, and the next day when we came back, we explained the situation to the ladies working and they just said No. They said it’s a problem with yesterday’s shift. They didn’t care at all, even though the park was empty and we were asking politely. We drove all that way for nothing, twice. They would not give a refund or accept...

A beautiful and peaceful lagoon. It is possible to cycle here from San Pedro but it is quite tiring. It took me just under 2 hours to cycle here and maybe 2 hours 10 to get back to San Pedro. Entrance is 2000CHP and renting a bike for 6 hours is 3000CHP making it a far more budget friendly option if you are up for the ride compared to renting a car which is likely to cost around 45000CHP. Be warned that if you do cycle, some of the road is not the best and will...

Probably the most beautiful place in the Atacama desert, and it's not as famous as other places there. Plan to see the sunset there, as it is really beautiful. The guided tours give some 20 minutes to see the place, but I would have liked to walk the whole place, which would have taken longer. Go by yourself in a rented car, if possible, to take as much time as you want.
