There's a bit of a walk down or back up to the car park, although there did seem to be a shuttle vehicle to take people back up. The first thing you notice is the unfamiliar sound of rushing water in such an arid landscape. It is set up like a mini spa resort and the pools are amazing; not overly hot by say Japanese standards but definitely lovely and warm. Changing rooms are basic huts with lockers but no locks so bring your own padlock if you have valuables. You might want walking shoes for the path down and sandals etc for walking between pools although those won't be essential for many as the walkways are easy enough. You might want an extra towel or something to wear between pools if you feel the cold during the cooler months (although I was fine without, even in August). There are toilets but no showers because the water is fresh and clean enough so you only need to dry off afterwards. There's a picnic area too. Overall a great experience and a wonderfully wet oasis in the middle of the dessert.

It is expensive, road is not the best but you can get there without a tour agency. 15 minutes walk from parking. Some tour agencies take tourist down to the facilities. Hot spring are not that hot. Please bring sunscreen and a hat. Barhrooms and changing station are clean but very tiny. Use the bathroom to change for more privacy. You can bring food for the covered spaces. If you get a pool for your group even better. Not sure if the income for this place is reaching the community since the houses a few miles away are not good quality. Other than that, it is a great experience but just once is enough.

Absolute stunning natural place with very clean water flowing through 8 natural pools. Saddly, because of corona, they will just assig a pool to you and you are not allowed to find the one that is best for you. My group was assigned to number 6 while number 3 and 1 were empty. Number 6 was too cold for me. This destroys the whole "relax at the warm termas" experience. Sad they exaggerate with corona measures that are not required. They have restrictions for allowed number of people. That should be enough. By the way, corona is over anyway. Sad for such a natural gem of a place...

Beautiful place in the middle of the desert! Out of nothing pops up this hot water underground river which gives raise to 7 natural beautiful pools in which you can relax and enjoy all the afternoon. Its a bit pricey but deffenately worth a visit, for which youll need a car or hire a tour. After 2pm its 9.000 pesos and 15.000 before. It closes at 5:30pm since it gets really cold up there. We spent just less than an hour and it was a perfect way to relax and close off the day. Dont miss tge Guatin river just a couple of kms before!
