Absolutely stunning hike with a massive payoff, both along the trail and at the end. We did this hike without problems with our 11-month-old daughter in a hiking backpack in two hours, round-trip, including time to take photos at the many, many viewpoints along the way. The elevation change is doable for most people, and you don't need any hardcore equipment or hiking shoes. The trail is very well-marked and the path was in good condition. It's more of a walk over gentle hills rather than any mountain climbing, but the view is amazing. We saw condors and guanacos on the trail. You could probably do this walk in any weather except torrential rain (don't let a light drizzle keep you from missing out on this hike).

If you're short on time and can only do one hike in the park, this is the one, even if you can only make it to Salto Grande and back (about 5 min walk from the car...

My conceptions of both the grandeur and wonder of nature changed drastically after taking in the expansive and staggering beauty that greets onlookers as they fix their gazes outward from the lookout point “Mirador Cuernos” located in Torres del Paine National Park in the Chilean portion of Patagonia. Despite its frequent cold temperatures and strong winds, even during the summer months, Torres Del Paine National Park is host to more than a quarter million visitors every year. I captured the accompanying photo below from Mirador Cuernos as the moon crossed the sky over Cuernos Del Paine and Lake Pehoé, and the first rays of a new day’s sun began to dye the landscape shades of orange...

The Horns of the Paine - totally worth it! This is a very easy walk to an amazing lookout point. Lots of tour buses stop here but the old people don’t walk all the way in past the various fields and valleys. Get all the way to the end and you’ll see a huge opening where there is a lake in front of you and the majestic horns in front of you. It was amazing and the views were just as good as the other hikes. The effort and energy for this hike is low but the payoff is...

Easy hike, perfect to get a closer look to Los Cuernos. It can be really windy so get ready! If I got it right, if the wind is too strong the trail will be closed. I recommend to bring water and a snack even if it takes “just” 2 hours out and back. On the way, you’ll see the Salto Grande waterfall.
