Read morePeking University is the best university in China, with no doubt at all this is a historically important institute, bearing witness to so many vicissitudes from the culmination of China's last feudal dynasty Qing, to the tumultuous times of Min Guo (Republic of China, times of warlords), to the establishment of PRC, to today when China is so developed and mature. too many events and too many admirable souls come from here apart from the fact that it is academically super strong, the campus itself is also probably one of the most impressive in China with trees, lakes, tower, ancient buildings, you not only stroll in the campus itself, but also ramble in its history, its culture (and dreams of endless chinese students day and night) in china, it is extremely terribly hard to get into Peking University for some province with more than 50 million population, only about 50 to 100 students could be enrolled in every year enjoy your trip then *in times of covid, it may get confused to figure out procedures visiting Peking University. perhaps go to their official website and i would also recommend 北京大学公众号(wechat Peking University official account), they usually have detailed instructions and you may have to register...

I didn't know I had a roof over my head until the day I walked into campus.
The food is cheap and ok, but don't expect anything miraculous. It's also a pain getting in and out of university because the gate is blocked by domestic tourists. The bottom line is this is an excellent university and it was worth every cent I paid. You'll make a lot of friends and the lakes inside campus are perfect to relax by.
Just make sure you do everything you can to get through the Great Wall of...
