If I could give this hotel a more negative review, I would. It has nice sized rooms and a decent lobby with pretensions of quality, but as a student at PKU I've endured a month straight of paint thinner and other noxious chemicals without any effort to ventilate. In the west it would be completely illegal. Additionally, the internet barely works, there is only hot water occasionally, and friends in the other hotel buildings do not even have working heaters (mine does, but with the window open all day to vent fumes, what is the point?). Read moreThis is an update to my previous review. Scratch my comment saying that you will find an AC. Mine exploded in a torrent pouring down the wall onto the floor, TV, and wall sockets. When the hotel staff came to check it out, they said it was normal, and that I should "let it rest". So I'd say if you're coming here in summer, definitely don't stay here unless you're happy to be without an AC and the internet.
