Zhenjue Temple — Attraction in Beijing

This is a pretty well hidden place and as temples go, has two special attractions. One is the five pagoda structure in the middle, which is one of only two of such pieces of architecture in Beijing - the other being quite out of the way in the western hills. Die Diamantenthron Pagode ist ein höchst sehenswertes Kulturdenkmal. Sie liegt etwas ausserhalb der touristischen Routen, und wird nur wenig beachtet. Die zahlreichen Skulpturen mit der sie ausgestattet ist, kann man daher in Ruhe anschauen. In unmittelbarer Nähe des imposanten Bauwerks ist ein Friedhof, auf dem im 16. und 17.
