Beijing Aquarium — Attraction in Beijing

Rather expensive but worth the while if you can bear the crowds during the busy season. The main purpose is conservation and this Aquarium has done that in a spectacular way. There are different parts in the aquarium which is very nice to experience the marine life in their natural habitat. The performance is very nice. My 5 stars is for their STAR Beluga .. it’s massive and so intelligent. First time seeing one in closeup. there are many other attractions also segregated by habitats, it’s not so crowded during weekday. I do find it kinda expensive for a foreigner but you can’t give it a missed for such attraction.

Beautiful aquarium. The shows are all undercover so perfect for really hot days or rainy days. Note the times for the feeding of the manta rays, etc as well as the dolphin and beluga shows so that you don't miss them. Beware, the toilets were very dirty! Also, disappointingly, outside of the show time, the viewing tanks for the dolphins and beluga whale were really small. Expected better care of the...
