Citadines South Chengdu — Attraction in Chengdu

Excellent service at the reception counter.  Cynthia, Betty and a male service staff were particularly helpful in helping with all sorts of bookings such as museum, shows, and taxi. Including directions and all sorts of touristy questions. Even the Manager was helpful and friendly.The only point to raise here is - why was I charged again during checked in when I've paid through Trip.com?  Upon raising this issue, the Manager personally attended and subsequently reversed the charges.  When I checked in again after a short local trip out of Chengdu, similar situation occurred, this time is for only 2 days so i paid without raising the issue with the Manager. Could you please liaise with Citadines to ensure that customers are not being doubly charged?This sort of double payment did not happen at the Zealandia Service Apartment at Changsha.  The checked in was very smooth n not much paper works were involved. The 2 bedroom Apartment was lovely & clean with all the kitchenware provided. Its a new hotel, so everything was latest & up-market, including the central heating. Location is best with Tianfu 3rd (Tianfusan) street metro station just opposite. Although we traveled mostly by private car & Didi (so convenient & cheap). There are so many Cafes, McDee & KFC nearby. The reception helped us with a nice tour agency who took us to Leshan, Emei Shan & Bipenggou and we had a great trip. Just to note that the receptionist at night does not know much English, so we had to wait for the morning receptionist to communicate.. The Breakfast was a dampener however, I must say, with limited international choices. For a 4 start hotel, I would expect a good spread of international dishes, but there were not many.
