Chongqing Jiabei Airport is a dazzling gem that truly stands out! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an impeccably maintained and sparkling clean environment. Every inch of the airport, from the sleek terminal areas to the spotless restrooms, radiates orderliness and hygiene. My arrival was a breeze, filled with efficiency and convenience! Baggage claim was a snap—my luggage arrived swiftly and in pristine condition, which is such a relief after a long flight. Exiting the airport was just as smooth, with friendly staff ready to assist and clearly marked signs leading me straight to various transportation options.
The waiting areas are wonderfully comfortable, creating a perfect spot to relax. Plus, the array of shops and cafes adds a delightful touch to the experience. I couldn't overlook the cultural charm woven into the architecture and decor, which gave my visit a memorable flavor of Chongqing. And let’s not forget the iconic sight of the long queue for Yellow Taxis, which perfectly captures the bustling energy of the city.
All in all, Chongqing Jiabei Airport is not just a travel facility; it's an exciting gateway that is clean, organized, and incredibly welcoming. I can't wait to fly through here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreLarge, clean, easy to navigate. We were in terminal 3 but wanted to grab local non-airport food. The gentleman at the information booth spoke very little English but used a translation app to communicate and was very nice and patient. I asked for a close by place to eat lunch, not at the airport. He wrote the name of a station in Chinese and I took it downstairs to the Line 10 (only line in T3). I couldn’t figure out the machines so went to the booth. The lady in the booth also didn’t speak much R blush but I showed her what other guy wrote and I was on my way. 1 stop a away to Terminal 2, important detail EXIT 7! It was quite a walk and 3 or 4 escalators up but we made it to. Cute hilly town. Wish we had more time to explore. There is a mall there and also other small restaurants and a yummy food court. Be aware: no one speaks English so hv your translation apps ready or be ready to order only by picture (which I did!). Everything was sooooooo good! So if you don’t hv time for the 45-60 ride to the center, this little spot will hit the spot. Promise. And soooo cheaply...
Read moreChongqing Jiangbei International Airport is a modern and well-organized hub with impressive facilities. The airport is clean, with efficient signage in both Chinese and English, making it relatively easy to navigate. The selection of shops and restaurants is decent, offering a variety of local and international options. Immigration and security processes are generally smooth, though they can be time-consuming during peak hours.
However, a word of caution: Be very careful when arranging transportation from the airport. Illegal taxis are prevalent, and they often approach travelers offering rides at inflated prices. Stick to official taxi stands, or better yet, use a reliable ride-hailing service like DiDi or other ride-share apps to ensure fair pricing and safety. Arranging a hotel shuttle in advance is also a good option.
Overall, Chongqing Jiangbei Airport serves its purpose well, but it's essential to be vigilant when it comes to transportation options to ensure a safe and...
