Conrad Dalian — Attraction in Dalian City

The Conrad Dalian has an old world European charm with lots of rich marbles and wood. The hotel is located across from the harbor and Convention Center and is walking distance to the best Dalian Water Show. We were upgraded to a suite with a harbor view which was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Our housekeeper, Wang Li, went above and beyond and made our stay very comfortable. We loved the Club lounge for breakfast and for dinner and drinks. If you’re thinking about staying at the Dalian Conrad, don’t! I booked the Deluxe Seaview Suite for three nights and checked out after the first night. The suite was like a sauna regardless how low you set the aircon. We contacted the hotel but they were not able to solve the problem. To make things worst, we also found the exterior of the aircon vent full of mold. We wonder what else lingers inside. To top it all off, the edge on the bed was really sharp and I end up cutting my leg on it. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I will suggest to you all to avoid this hotel...

I stayed at Conrad Dalian for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The room had a beautiful view, the breakfast was delicious, and above all, I was deeply impressed by the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff.

I would especially like to thank Lily and Yaya at the reception for their warm hospitality, and I am also grateful to every other staff member who made my stay so pleasant.

This is truly an outstanding hotel, and I would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommended.
