莲花山旅游区 — Attraction in Guangzhou City

This is Lotus Hill, which is about an hour's journey from Guangzhou. It is located near Shilou in the Panyu District, in a somewhat remote area. We took the metro to a distant station and then a bus to our destination. From the bus stop to the scenic area, there is still a bit of a walk before you can purchase tickets to enter.

We chose to visit on a weekday, so there weren't many people, and we didn't have to wait in line. When buying tickets, you can choose to walk or take a sightseeing car to the main areas. Since we like to take our time appreciating the sights, we opted to walk. The entire scenic area takes about half a day to explore, as we enjoy a leisurely pace.

At the Lotus Hill Scenic Area, you can see the ancient quarry ruins, Guanyin Statue, Pagoda, and ancient walls. Each place is rich in history and interest.
