Read moreI would like to share my experience on the 134 Canton Fair which I visited weeks ago. As visitor/buyer, probably you may want to check the list of exhibitors and started contact some of them before you visit the fair, so that you know where their booths are. The Canton Fair finds inself in a huge complex with total area over 1 million square meters, which consists of exhibition halls A, B C, and D. On the first floor of each halls, you may ask for a catelog, free of charfe, of all exhibitors in that hall with your visitor badge. Keep your visitor badge carefully, you may reuse it for Canton Fairs in the future. If you want to take your lunch inside the complex, simple fast food can be found on the ground floor of each hall. There is also a big catering area in the basement of Exhibition Hall A, where both chinese and western food are served. Just in case you need RMB in cash, I will strongly recommend you to exchange your home currency into RMB before your trip, if possible, in order to get a better exchange rate than you would get inside China. In my case the difference is 11% in my favour. You may want to check with your mobile phone provider to organise the on-the-go WIFI access in China, to get mobile WIFI access in China could be a bit tricky for some foreigners. Please note that some apps on Android Phone or IPnone are not accessible in China., e.g. YouTube, Facebook, etc. Try to get the chinese communication App called WeChat installed, as most chinese exhibitors exchange their identity with you through WeChat besides...
