Well worth a trip to this zoo, it is humongous and all the animals appear well-treated and their habitats well maintained. The only thing would be some of the pandas seemed dispirited in the indoor enclosures compared to the outdoor ones.
Via metro, get off at Hanxi Changlong metro station and there is a free shuttle bus that brings you to the park. You can buy tickets at the gate. You are not allowed to bring food into the zoo.
