We went at the end of December while they were still constructing a few things (official opening was only on 5 January) and there were already a lot of people. Temperature was not too bad, at around -15 C. Jan & Feb will definitely be colder and more crowded.
Arrive around 2 hours before sunset so you can see the sculptures during both day and night. Didn't see too many food options around, so eat before you go. Make sure to bring a power bank, as you will be taking a lot of pictures and the cold drains your battery.
