During the cold winter months, this park area transforms into an eclectic winter wonderland. You can see various snow/ice sculptures, handcrafted by a mini army of craftsmen. Some of the sculptures are rather sizable, reaching up to the footprint of a smallish building.

Although the entrance fee is not exactly cheap, it was probably worth a visit, since a huge portion of the world do not have the requisite climate/temperatures to sustain outdoor large scale ice displays.

This attraction is a must during winter season. However, my visit was in summer, thus not much offer at this time of the year. You can get there by using subway line 2, cable car, or by boat. The easiest way to get there is by subway. Taxi can be expensive. At Sun Island subway station, walk towards the bridge. You can take a buggy ride for 25rmb per pax to go around those attractive spots. Russian village is just 5 to 10 mins walk from the bridge. Entrance fee...
