During the cold winter months, this park area transforms into an eclectic winter wonderland. You can see various snow/ice sculptures, handcrafted by a mini army of craftsmen. Some of the sculptures are rather sizable, reaching up to the footprint of a smallish building.
Although the entrance fee is not exactly cheap, it was probably worth a visit, since a huge portion of the world do not have the requisite climate/temperatures to sustain outdoor large scale ice displays.
The area is easy enough to navigate, and walking about or talking the park tram will suit people of all ages. It does get a bit cold, and there are not much amenities around, so dress warm, and you can probably spend an hour or 2 slowly...

You can get there by using subway line 2, cable car, or by boat. The easiest way to get there is by subway. Taxi can be expensive. At Sun Island subway station, walk towards the bridge.
