Yabuli Windmill Hill Mountain Villa Ski Field — Attraction in Harbin

Yabuli has a few resorts that caters to beginners. A true ski-in ski-out and largest mountain was the Club Med Hotel and Yabuli Sun Mountain hotel which are connected together. 5 black trails, 10 blue trails, and 2 greens. The trails are quite empty since it doesn't seem to be a popular sport in China. Snow varies but does get groomed daily. This resort is about 10-20 years behind the more modern resorts I’m used to in the states and I've boarded in Colorado/Utah/Calgary before so I must say it's not worth traveling to unless you are already in China and you want to see cool Chinese/Russian things.

You will be gouged - AUD120 per day for lift passes, good groomed runs, village and ski fields empty. The best and probably only place to stay is Club Med. With skiing not being popular in China, the slopes are empty and so is the resort. This means that there is nothing other than skiing. Make sure you stay were there is something to do at night. Oh, and ski lifts don't operate as there is not enough patronage to fix them. China has great potential as a ski destination but they have a lot to learn. Didnt know much about skii so cant give comment on the field but heard it was one of the best skii mountain. Was staying in clubmed therefore instructor was provided but big disappointment. He was a caucasian because i selected english speaking, provided very minimum training even though it was my 1st time thus I learnt nothing at all and worse, he left without saying anything, left most of us hanging there not knowing what to do or not even bothered to tell us what time is the next lesson. I gave 3 stars because of him.
