Long Ke Beach (Long Ke Wan) is located 1.5 km north of the High Island Reservoir and East Dam in the Sai Kung East Country Park. This is probably one of Hong Kong's nicest beaches that can be reached by hiking up the MacLehose Stage 2 trail from the East Dam to Long Ke village.

The beach is a long stretch of soft white sand with clear blue waters. It is a popular place for day trips and there is a campground for those who fancy pitching up tent and staying overnight.

If you are hiking the popular MacLehose Stage 2 section, this is one the most beautiful spots of this section of the trail, a place well worth spending a bit of time, having a swim or a snack break before continuing onward...

Take bus 289r(special service) from Sha Tin B/T it will directly stop at Pak Tam Chung station or 299x and get off Mak Pin and take bus 94 (Sai Kung) and alight at Pak Tam Chung and from there take Mini Bus 9A bound to East Dam Reservoir Sai Kung the fare is $11.30 to UNESCO Geopark. And from there walk straight ahead And on the left side you will see the Pavilion and behind the Toilet Room you will see a wooden signboard heading to Long Ke Wan (Beach) , it will takes you 30 to 40...

Overall, its a beautiful beach. Extraordinary view from the hill. Its only a 30 min walk to the beach. The water is really clean and is not polluted. The sand is also very clean. Its a quite environment. But, the toilet their is dirty so you probably need to clear your tummy before going. Good for day camp though. If you are a serious camper, please bring enough good and...
