Clear Water Bay Country Park — Attraction in Hong Kong

This is located in the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the eastern part of Hong Kong. This Peninsula is famous for some of the places including the beaches especially the Clear Water Bay Beaches I & II, the Clear Water Bay Country Club (a prestige golf club), Po Toi O for its fishing village, Tin Hau Kwu Miu being the largest Tin Hau Miu (Tin Hau Temple) in Hong Kong and the High Junk Peak Country Trail.

Hiker lovers can access the High Junk Peak (also known as the Tiu Yue Yung peak 334m from the said Trail), which is regarded as one of the 3 sharp peaks in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. The other two sharp peaks are the Sharp Peak (also known as Nam She Tsim 488m and Tai Yue Ngam Teng 233m).

'No, no & no', it's my answer to 'lets go to Clearwater Bay Country Park' and also my advice to anyone who is planning to visit there without a car on public transport. There is nothing special about the place and the trail there other than some good views of ocean...the whole trail is without any tall trees, which mean no place to sit and take a break. Good hiking trail with lots of elevation change. Easy to find trailhead beginning near the lower/far beach area on north side (Lun Ha Wan). Really nice panoramic views of Clearwater Bay and surrounding islands. Catch the right weather, you will have great photos. Google distances are often wrong, this hike is ~3 hours if leisurely pace.
