Lobster Bay Country Trail — Local services in Hong Kong

Tiring, sweaty, worth it. Went up the trail assuming it was gonna be short and fun, ended up in clear water bay country park 2 hours later! Each time i walked up, I thought it was gonna be over soon, then I saw more and more stairs. When I finally saw a pathway leading down, I thought that was the end but turns out it was only the beginning!

Still, the view of all the islands and the clear sea view was so rewarding, the view is truly beautiful. I do recommend hiking up the trail only when the weathers 14-20 degrees, or else...

Visited in April 2024. 29°C Started from Tai Hang Tun public car park to Lung Ha Wan.

Google Map said the trail takes about 50 min. In fact the trail went up and down the hill couple of times and took me about 1.5 hours. Basically, steps all along most of the way. My heart beat went up to 140. It was an exhausted hill walking.

Be prepared if you plan to come here. Very good view to the sea on a good day. Once reaching Lung Ha Wan, it was another 45 min to 1 hour walk back to the Tai Hang Tun...

可剩往清水灣9I號巴士或剩16\103\I03M小巴在大坳門下車，下車前行見清水灣郊野公園牌，便轉入左邊是龍蝦灣，初時行人路 忽左忽右，最後便沒有行人路，衹有行車路。約行30分鐘左邊有梯級和龍蝦灣石刻牌，看完繼續前行，沿綠茵草原牌行便見石灘，這時便接近馬 馬術訓練學校，先入馬術訓練學校，在左邊有梯級，有分岔路左邊是去龍蝦灣風爭場，右邊是去龍蝦灣郊遊地點，行完龍蝦灣風爭埸便行龍蝦灣郊遊地點，留意右邊有馬術場，左邊有危險牌寫着沿岸有巨浪 ，務請小心，切勿游泳。沿這牌入去可見綠蛋島，但這處太多大件垃圾請小心行，看完繼續前行上山，在左右兩邊都可以上山和見到沒有水用的公厠，途中也可見到綠蛋島，先到平托坑山，再到大嶺洞，山高291米海拔可見 相思灣 \香港科技大學生\ 岩頭沙 \牛尾洲\ 橋咀洲\牛頭排\ 滘西洲\吊鐘洲\平面洲\ 伙頭墳洲\ 沙塘口山 \ 瘌痢仔\ 火石洲\大瘌痢，繼續下山向大坑墩風爭場觀景台行。大坑墩有兩個有水用很清潔的公厠\兩個冰凍的加水機\一個茶水亭\一大片綠草如茵的風箏場和樹木研習徑，這處可見 北果洲島\果洲群島\南果洲島\青洲\寶鏡頂\ 橫瀾島\東龍洲\ 擔杆島...
