Used this terminal to travel to Macau in Feb 2019. Recently opened, the premise looks mint! (Hate to compare this with the border control terminal in Macau, but I’d like to say this one in Hong Kong just looks more stylish and futuristic) The process of passing through border control is very straightforward and quick. There are electronic ticket booths to purchase coach tickets to Macau after crossing the border (Single: ~HKD$65/adult; HKD$33/senior) Signposting are pretty visible, and there are staff who offered assistance while purchasing tickets. There is also a mini convenience store and a fast food restaurant inside the terminal. The golden coach travelling to Macau are quite neat, quiet and comfortable. This terminal is also quite accessible, there is a bus terminal just outside the arrivals with lots of city buses to travel to the rest of Hong Kong!

Compared to my childhood experiences travelling to Macau via Speedboats in Sheung Wan, this coach journey option is far more appealing...

The world's longest bridge and the world's longest underwater tunnel for vehicles! Used this bridge to commute to Macao. This option is surprising less convenient than taking the ferry, but this option is way more comfortable than taking the ferry. Not really much views from the bridge (it's all open ocean). Nevertheless the bridge itself is a spectacular masterpiece of...

Bus A36 drops you right in front of the terminal. Super easy to get a bus ticket to Macau on one of the machines inside (best to have Octopus card or soke sort of Chinese payment platform as you cannot pay by visa/ MasterCard on these machines).

Queue moves quickly and immigration is quick. Bus journey took 50-60mins along the bridge to...

Transfer from Hong Kong International Airport to Ohashi Hong Kong Exit with B4 circulation bus for 6 $ cash. From Ohashi Hong Kong Exit, you can move to Macau City with a comfortable bus. Fares vary slightly during the day and late at night, but credit cards can be used. After arriving in Macau, you can transfer to the city for 6 $ cash with a 101X or 102X route bus. Since there is no change, at least 6 $ is required twice from Hong Kong International Airport. My home is not ready for fine money, so I will pay a lot without changing. However, I think that the access to Macau has become more convenient thanks to the Minato Pearl Bridge.
