Inspiration Lake — Attraction in Hong Kong

A fantastic park ! A lot of visitors . Good for picnic and a nice stroll. Mostly families , some couples and great place for Pre wedding photo taking . Traffic is banana lol . If you come from Tsuen wan direction , you can consider changing At the Lantau link and then change to bus R8 . It is a 5 min ride between the Lantau Link and inspiration lake . Parking can be awhile.

There is a store with food supplies at the entrance. Toilet in the front as well . Bring along your mosquitos repellent and sun screen ! Must have at this park !

This park is great place to relax and unwind. It’s far from the city but a great spot to enjoy the nature and serenity. It’s packed on weekends and the parking situation can be terrible with the limited parking space available hence recommend to come on weekdays. There are paddle boats for rents but the lake is closed due to COVID. There’s a 7-11 here meaning you don’t have to pack much if you decided to have a picnic in the area. Besides this area is beautiful and it’s great for jogging and photo shooting (saw a few groups of people taking wedding and family photos...

The place is quite peaceful for a picnic. If you plan nothing much do, pack your picnic bags...don't forget to get some good food, a Matt and a tent... because nothing much you can get there apart from a 7-11...nothing at all. The boats and cycles are just kept as a spectacle most of it is non-operational. Don't be surprised only to see a couple of boats in the lake. Soak the sun and just nap if you can find a good spot away from the Disney metro running...
