Read moreThe Kerry Lake Egret National Park is a nice place between Sha Tin and Tai Po, found on Hung Lam Dr. just off the Tolo Highway. This is a popular place for weekend family meals, business lunch meetings and gathering and wedding ceremonies. While not a conventional tourist attraction for visitors, this is a relatively popular venue and park area for locals.
The most popular reason for visiting the Kerry Lake Egret National Park is to dine at the Little Egret Restaurant, which is a large venue with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a large terrace which extends a noticeably distance along the man made lake. The dining area, is spacious with tables spread out and arranged nicely, allowing pleasant conversations with family, friends and work colleagues. Mostly western cuisine is found on the menu if you try the restaurant. We find this a nice place to have lunch from time to time.
In addition to the restaurant and lake, there are some leisure activities found at the Kerry Lake Egret Nature Park as well. There is a small Museum of Ethnology found here as well as a patch of about 10 hectares or mostly undeveloped habitat that can be explored. Here you can explore a lagoon, mangrove swamp, some streams and a fresh water pond and woodland.
The Kerry Lake Egret Nature Park is also located very near to the Tai Po Kau Special Area, which is a similar nature reserve of 440 hectares that can be visited in addition to or instead of the Kerry Lark Egret Nature Park for those wanting to spend a bit more...

But now is dont have .... .maybe nxt...
