Excellent hike and well maintained trail. Easy to navigate and highly unlikely to get lost, even in the dark. Great views from the top too - see my review under Lion Rock Head. Public toilets nearby just up the road and turn left near the convenience shop (cats outside). They sell a variety of drinks including Pocari sweat and Aquarius, perfect for the lion rock hike.

剩住翠竹花園211巴士在天宏站下車，向天宏苑入口處行，便在這處過對面行人路，再繼續前行見右邊有梯級便上去，再轉右邊行至見左邊是獅子山郊野公園，右邊是去獅子山，穿過鐵橫欄杆，見地圖和旁有綠色欄杆便上梯級去香港回歸紀念亭，這是麥理浩徑第5段，在回歸亭旁有獅子山/沙田坳/望夫石/乾隆古道指示牌，如選擇A上完獅子山可回此處再跟指示牌看望夫石，看完再回此處回程。選擇B上獅子山由紅梅谷回程。B的路程是跟指示牌上獅子山在左邊有風雨亭，上至山崖旁有大石，在大石旁可見獅頭，再繼續上山見木欄杆是獅子山495m，看完獅子頭/獅子背，便向行獅子尾見懸崖危險，切勿前進，便穿過去看到一排山脈，看完從危險牌旁的沙田坳和麥理浩徑指示牌行，下梯級再穿過電塔，再下梯級，見分岔路，右邊去沙田坳，左邊去畢架山，行左邊畢架山，見白色四方大石，繼續向前行往上行，穿過電塔見右邊有白色繩索沿繩索往下行，見獅子山和望夫石指示牌，便行望夫石方向行至有欄杆這處看遠處的望夫力最像。再前行是近看望夫石，看完再前行見分岔路，行右邊山路向下行，再見分岔路行右邊，向下行見小溪澗，沿溪澗行過澗轉右邊向引水道行，過引水道對面行轉左邊，見獅子山隧道公路指示牌，沿指示方向下梯級，行15分鐘便到紅梅谷燒烤場，有公厠和加水站，前行右邊轉下山，過對面世界花園芙蓉閣行，沿路是紅梅谷路，行至紅梅谷路遊樂場便見巴士站，剩46X和86...
