A peaceful place. I wish I could spend more time there. From Sai Kung Take Ferry to High Island Reservoir. Get off at Lueng Shuen. And hike for about 20mnts to the beach. Easy. Please check the ferry times. It runs every few hrs. 2.30pm ferry I took. Before one was 12.30Pm. Check Kaito Ferry service details Transport Department. Last ferry from Lueng Shuen was 5.30pm.

It's a relatively quiet beach in Sai Kung. Not difficult to get to if you take taxi. The taxi would drop you off at a spot where you'll find clear directions to Pak Lap village and Pak Lap Wan beach. Walking from there would take around 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, the beach is a bit dirty and you can find many plastic scraps near the shore.

Off Stage 1 MacLehose trail is a concrete path to a small village. Follow the path for a few minutes and arrive at this 'secret' beach. Sandy, stoney and some shade, there's a beach cafe too. If walking back, look out for the old concrete path alongside the new. This has steps and is easier to walk back up.
