This is a traditional Chinese style pavilion set up in the mid slope area west of Lion Rock located along the MacLehose Trail Section 5 in the middle of Lion Rock Country Park to commemorate the reunification of Hong Kong and China.

The pavilion location is something of a crossroad rest stop for hikers going (1) north to Amah Rock and Shatin Pass, (2) west to Beacon Hill and western end of Section #5 or (3) east to Lion Rock and the eastern part...

Fun and beautiful view in a short time. Like for most hiking trails in Hong Kong, it was too hot and humid to climb during summer time, so i waited until October. The hike is not very difficult and we (not in top shape) reached the summit in normal delays. Bring water and a torch if you come down after dark (which is not ideal) Oh, and i always bring a plastic bag for my own rubbish everywhere i go, just in case there is no garbage bin (It's light...

A little shelter to rest those weary legs. There used to be a lot of monkeys. But they have since moved to where there is more garbage. Lion Rock is a short, steep hike away and the views are incredible.

Good place to have a rest here, as it’s the mid way point if you walk from Kowloon to Sha Tin. It’s also the gateway to Lion Rock peak.
