The Lion rock, as one of our symbolic landmark of HK, has always won favour with both the locals and tourists for its unravelled and impeccable view of Kwoloon and HK Island. Standing at 495m above sea level, the densely packed houses all lie beneath your feet, and your view can extend well beyond to the HK island, Victoria harbour and even the Victoria peak, if weather is possible. Many hikers would go up along a trail and come down via another trail. The trails are clearly marked and very well maintained by the authorities.
