Sau Mau Ping Estate — Attraction in Hong Kong

Sau Mau Ping Estate (Central) is a beautiful space like many others in Hong Kong. It is spacious, full of environmental places and uphill.

It is not the typical city you will see anywhere mid-city area. It isn't surrounded by a lot of buildings or has robust travellers. It's an open public building area with lots of space to stroll around and enjoy parks. There isn't much going on around here as well other than daily necessities like food and restaurants. It's just a dead boring place to live in. (ideal for an elderly person)

The uphill environment here makes it incompatible with MTR as well. There is no MTR other than Choi Hung, Kowloon Bay or Kwun Tong to get by the easiest. You will only find busses that go around almost everywhere but that has a toll of waiting time itself. Sometimes causing lateness due to minor mistakes.

Not many options for recreational activities as well for the most part.

The air quality feels a bit better than anywhere else but to consider living here, you should note that after monsoon or rain, there is a lot of moisture and humidity ruining the walls.

Anyhow, it is good for having peace of mind here...

原名“掃墓坪”，經改名為秀茂坪，在70年代已經興建公共屋邨。90年代再重建成為現今的屋邨，但保留了秀明樓以作新舊對比。屋邨面積很大，依山而建，有二十多座樓。秀茂坪商場和街市可以應付此區的龐大人口，但這裡的長者數目在九龍區也爲數不少。從前交通不很方便，所以外來者不多，而認識這裡的港人也是。幸好現時多了不少公共交通往來，再加上安達臣道的屋邨相繼落成和大量市民...
