This is one of the oldest reservoirs, which consists of several parts & many historical building & construction. A lot of visitors go there to enjoy the country side, in particular during holidays or Sunday. There're also many tourists spots telling stories about the reservoir.
In the wet season ( April to September ), the reservoir always release rainwater out of it from the top of the dam where it looks like a huge white curtain hanging from dam. Quite nice.

Read moreThere are 4 masonry bridge crossings at Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir all on the west side of the lake. From north to south, the first three are a bit difficult to view. However, the trail bends hard to the east on both sides of the last bridge, providing very good views on both sides. Seems these bridges were built in 1907 and are a fine representation of masonry.
