TL;DR prepare to extend your wallet and to discard any expectations you may have of what an organic park should be like
An extortionate experience. Whilst it may seem like a good change of environment from the city, you might be better off at other natural farms or parks. Getting here is a pain if you don't have a car. The attitude of the staff is also quite bad. You'd think you were supporting the local industry by coming here but honestly it probably encourages more park mismanagement.
Animals were in very poor form with little space to roam (there is this part of the park where its literally clusters of animals all huddled up in enclosures) and the image I remember best was an emu which had bald patches from what appeared to be the result of prolonged malnutrition. Ponds were filled with algae, whilst deforestation was the by-product of blatant negligence in the park's responsibilities in maintaining the rapidly growing local population of goats.
The park feels like it was built between a concrete carpark (in the literal sense) and a rocky hillside. This is particularly evident when visiting the strawberry portion of the park; there is a large section just right of the entrance where poorly plants are grown in pots sitting on concrete. You'd think this would encourage plant growth by allowing for better control over its environment, but it has done the exact opposite - rotten strawberries litter the floor. Look a little further and you'll see the remnants of derelict buses and buildings that'd make a tip look fine.
There are other reviews which outline this makes for a good place for families and couples to come, if you're prepared to set your expectations lower for what an organic park should be like and to recuperate your sunk cost and time in coming here.
Hopefully you get the idea. Thanks for...

There are many good places for outings in Hong Kong, but places suitable for all ages may not be everywhere. For people in the urban area, being busy in the city on weekdays, entering Yuen Long seems to be an even more important event. As long as you pay attention, there is a paradise in Yuen Long. The park has been established for its 20th anniversary since its establishment in 1994. In order to make all visitors feel at home, we have carried out a large-scale restoration project a month ago, and we are waiting for your visit. Here, you can admire the scenery of the lake and the mountains, and enjoy the "natural oxygen bar" with a high concentration of negative ion oxygen in the air. It will refresh your spirits. Putting aside the heavy work, you can relax your head and have fun with your children. It will surely make you suddenly enlightened and happily forgetting to return. The facilities of this garden include: lotus pond, rope net array, children's playground,...

I honestly could rate this 0 stars, but I unfortunately can't. Let me explain from top to bottom. My school was having a picnic here and when we arrived, no staff were greeting us for our arrival, it was almost like no one from the staff team knew our school was there. An hour later, we were called by our teachers, and my friends and I immediately ran to the area where our stuff was, seeing a whole group of kindergarteners with their parents and teachers waiting for our school to pack up our stuff. Apparently, they "booked" the area, so they told us to leave. We couldn't even have a suitable place to settle down on. The company that runs this place didn't even bother caring. They did nothing to sort this "coincidence".
Then, moving on from that, my friends and I went to go play the family bicycle, and we arrived at the place, I saw there were more than 10 people waiting in line. After 15 minutes, I was in front of the line, and the staff member started scolding us for being, but already we weren't that loud, I would say. Then, the staff member literally sat in his chair and slowly counted his money(or I should say the park's money). I'm 99.9% sure he saw the line of 20+ people lining up, finally after 15 more minutes, he was done and gave us the tickets.
Overall, it was a complete rip-off. Items were overpriced, staff were rude and short-tempered, and the place smelled like a mess, trash everywhere, lacking staff. And this wasn't even half of the disappointing things I experienced when I went...
