The Chinese University of HK visited at early July,2020. For accessing the main entrance of the CUHK , at the New Town Plaza basement bus station , the number 72 bus can be used to alight at Chek Nai Ping. There right across the road was the obvious entrance signified by 4 Stone pillars . Due to security reason registration for visit was necessary. The opportunity to visit CBHC was taken to stroll the most impressive part of the University- the University Mall. It was an open and wide corridor with many faculties’ buildings placed along both sides of the mall. Two buildings worth mentioning:- 1) the Lady Shaw Garden where the statue of Prof. Yang Chen Ning, the Noble Prize Winner, was erected, 2) the University Library in which houses the Digital Library- a big , with strong cyber feel library with courteous staff. The Mall gave an ambience of both gracefulness and scholastic. One can feel the sensations of harmony and tranquility , just by standing in the middle of the Mall, though it was a very hot day. This University was established in 1963, a comprehensive university with many faculties, upholding forward and enterprising spirit and have trained many talents. Photos and videos are attached.
