Turtle Cove Accessible from Chaiwan in min bus or Number 14 bus from Grand Promenade at Sai Wan Ho. It is a small beach and extreme quiet. A Great view of the open ocean sky and mountains at the back. Good for swimming and gives a feeling of a private beach. The set back is one has to walk about 150M down from the main road Tai Tam Road near Red Hill . By the same token, when one reaches back up to the main road one has the choice to the trails of Tai Tam Reservoir at south Entrance or the Tai Tam Bay pier. Worthy of spending half of a day here. Clean beach without crowds even on the weekend. The water is also very clean and they're is actual sand. All of the usual HK beach facilities - washroom, changing rooms, showers, and a million lifeguards - are present here. There is also a small playground and loads of BBQ pits. There is not a place to buy food at the beach so make sure to bring your own or but some at the Wellcome at the top of the stairs. They're are a zillion stairs from the road to the beach so beware, it's a trek. Overall, I'd recommend going a few bus stops up the road to St....

On Oct 7, 2022, I came here for the first time. Except for the suspension of lifeguard services, here was like heaven on earth. The water was clear and there were just two other swimmers. Then, as the only swimmer, I had long sunbathing on the floating platform. And from there, I checked the shark net at the outer limit of the swimming area and found...

One of the cleanest beaches I've ever been to in HK. The water so clear you can actually see small fishes, crabs, clams. Great for kids, sands so fine. And shaded area (whole day!) if you didnt bring any tent. Life guard services and shower /changing room is also provided. Easiest way to get here is get on bus #14 from Sai wan ho station(exit A).
