This pagoda was built in AD1049 Song Dynasty. Worth the visit to see this magnificent structure that is nearly a 1000 years old.

2006 durfte ich die Eisenpagode in Kaifeng sehen. Wirklich sehr beeindruckend. Wir waren auch in dem nahegelegenen Park und haben dort Menschen sehen können, die traditionelle Kampfkunst praktiziert haben. Das war sehr beeindruckend.

2006 durfte ich die Eisenpagode in Kaifeng sehen. Wirklich sehr beeindruckend. Wir waren auch in dem nahegelegenen Park und haben dort Menschen sehen können, die traditionelle Kampfkunst praktiziert haben. Das war sehr beeindruckend.

Iron Pagoda is only one of the attractions: there's also quite nice gardens surrounding it - and there are performances and such. Pretty cheap to go there as well. When I went (April) there were no crowds. Enjoyed looking at the intricate brickwork. Interesting history!
