One of the most under rated place in Kaifeng. I was astonished that this park is rated below the recent man made Yuchen 御城and qingming shang he tu 清明上河图 which were built within 20 years ago。The pagoda was built about 1000 years ago for the purpose of housing Budda bone ( 舍利）. The pagoda has 8 faces (probably means see all the directions or 八卦？）and 13 levels（probably also meaning something) and each tile of it contains drawings of Budda. The park has fewer visitors and fare is 40 CNY. Along with the lake and some sculpture (no sign and I don't have time to dig out what they are about), this place is definitely top 3 in Kaifeng.
