Xiaomaidao Park — Attraction in Qingdao

Xiao Maidao Island is a small, peaceful spot just off the coast of Qingdao. You can reach it by a short boat ride from the shore — usually the wait for the boat is around 10–15 minutes, but it can be longer on weekends and holidays. Tickets are affordable (about 20–30 RMB for a round trip, depending on the season), and you can buy them directly at the dock.

Parking is available near the pier, but spaces can fill up quickly during peak hours, so it’s better to arrive early if you’re driving. The island itself is quiet and scenic, with rocky shores, fresh sea air, and beautiful views of both the sea and the city skyline. It’s not very crowded compared to other Qingdao attractions, making it a nice choice for a relaxing visit.
