for racing, it is probably one of the best circuits on the calendar, the long back straight downhill into hairpin turn 14 is the most exciting. therefore grand stand K is truly the best place to be. we visited it in 2011 for china GP, and we were at the massive grand stand at start/finish. it was not good at all. so this year we picked K, it was fantastic. but as a facility for racing fans, it is one of the worst venues i have ever been. dingy bathroom with only 3 stalls for the entire section so there is ALWAYS a long wait even when the line was not that long! this year, as everything post pandemic in china, so many fences, so many areas fenced off that forced you to walk miles (literally! on sunday we walked total 6 miles including having to walk to the pitlane for our visit to the pitlane) to get to anything: your seats, even food! unlike european circuits, they do not allow you to get on the track after the race. also, signs are terrible. so other than very exciting races (spring and GP race), it was a very unnecessarily tiring experience. so despite being a great track, we would not be returning...
